Does the government really need to know how many miles you drive? SB 5735 & SB 5560

Article posted on DoNoHarmWashington.com. Published on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 EST
The Washington State Legislature is now considering several bills that will require local governments to limit the amount of miles that citizens drive each year.
Article posted on DoNoHarmWashington.com. Published on March 19, 2009 EST
At this time, the governor's ambitious cap-and-trade legislation is headed nowhere, which counts as a victory for the business climate, whatever you might think of its dubious merits as a climate change vehicle. Warren Cornwall has a good story on the politics in the Seattle Times.
